Now for D'Lox! As stated, I found this (fairly new) restaurant via my Urbanspoon app. If you don't have this app, I highly recommend it as it comes in handy a lot! D'Lox is sort of a breakfast place (I'm assuming) as it only serves "Breakfast, Brunch, and Lunch" and is only open until 3 pm. The menu had a good variety of foods that were a little more than your norm. S ordered some kind of swiss-onioned-mushroom burger with an add on of green chile and margarita lime fries on the side. I normally don't like onions, but this warm burger on toasted rye was great and the onions gave it a good flavor. This was my first time ever trying margarita lime fries... they were good, too! So yummy. The taste was a bit like my favorite lemon chips only 10x better! I ordered the Classic Club which consisted of three whole wheat breads and 1/2 lb. of meat including turkey, ham, and bacon with a side of their Soup Du Jour which just so happened to be Shrimp Bisque. The club was normal--until I got to the ham! The ham was super rich in flavor and very delicious. I'd never heard of or tried Shrimp Bisque before but to me, it tasted like chile con queso soup, or something, and had about three shrimp and ten pasta pieces. It was not bad but I would not order it again. There are still more items on their menu I would like to try... so I'm sure I'll be back soon!

SATURDAY'S DATE WITH S
Today was round two of El Paso's DWNTWN ARTMRKT, this time with my friend S. I asked her to stay over and made plans for us to attend the market at 9 am, take her workout class at 11 am, and eat a what Urbanspoon calls "The Talk of the Town" for my city. The market was nice as always but this time I was excited to see a cute cupcake food truck named Sweet Addiction! I tried the Caramel Macchiato (picture 8) and S tried the Chai (not shown). My cupcake was very flavorful, and I tasted enough of S's to say the same about hers! However, I was a bit disappointed to find out that most of the cupcakes had some kind of whip cream "frosting." I don't know about you, but if I'm paying $3 for one small cupcake, I'd at least like some kind of nice, above average, frosting. This frosting was even a bit below average to me...
